Tracklist September:

Mogwai - Sun Smells Too Loud
"The song quickly sways into an almost gentle circular pattern with a speaking guitar line that has generous amounts of Verlaine-ish sheen. There is no quiet/loud/quiet dynamic to speak of, and I think it no accident that this particular track lays at the middle of the album. What we have here is the gyroscopic center, twirling with confidence, never reaching beyond its grasp, and keeping all in its orbit precisely in place." Billy Carter on mogwai.co.uk
Gas - Zauberberg
"Though Wolfgang Voigt's loop-heavy “Gas” material works its disorienting magic when heard in this single, eight-minute dose, it's nothing compared to the hypnotic experience of listening to all four of the newly-remastered albums in Kompakt's reissue set." textura.org
Empire Of The Sun - Walking On A Dream
"Empire of The Sun. Little is known - no bio, no press kits, no explanations. The vital components are Nick Littlemore (Pnau) and Luke Steele (Sleepy Jackson) and the music is a precise dovetail of the two. The silky strings, tight-strums and cheeky hi-hats give 'Walking On A Dream' a distinctly French-house flavor."
White Lies - Death (Crystal Castles Remix)
"UK band White Lies joins the ranks of bands such as Health, Liars, and Uffie after having their track fiddled with by old tour mate Ethan Kath of Crystal Castles. Here, Kath opts not for the trademark Crystal Castles chiptune-y sound, and instead goes for a kind of lawnmower-like synth to bring the airy White Lies track down to earth. He also switches out the Killers-esque grandiosity of the original track for a kind of throbbing, immediate cynicism that's probably designed to make cynics throb immediately."
Osborne - 16th Stage
Walter Jones - Deuteronomy Brown (I-f edit)
LCD Soundsystem's James Murphhy and his retro disco label Death From Abroad have collected another 19 or so badass disco-punk tracks for their latest compilation entitled Nobody Knows Anything: DFA Presents Supersoul Recordings. iguessimfloating.blogspot.com
